I got your name under irish psychics, in the book, said Laura. l was more than suprised. First of all, she was not my usual client. I mean, because she was young, very beautiful and rich. She was a true believer in the power of the tarot, but because she was so materialistic, she lived her life in a bubble, unafffected by the daily grind of everyday life. Or, at least l thought so, until l read her cards.

A Story from Irish Psychics

Many Irish psychics had read for suchlike people, but not me. Although l would assume that being married to such a woman would have been estatic for her husband, it appeared not. He was a cruel man subject to much jealousy, hating any man who looked at his wife, and blaming her for encouraging them. In many ways, was she was a prisoner, but because of her need for the materialistic trappings of life, she endured his cruelty.

In the meantime, she had met a man she felt she loved. A kind and generous man, and although not wealthy, was nevertheless well enough off. Her quandery was, should she leave her husband for this man. She felt her life would be in danger, once she informed him of her intentions

Although l could see her turmoil reflected in the reading, l felt the crossroads she was at, was really presenting an easy decision. On the one hand, her life would be hard and in many respects cruel.  All the trappings in the world would change nothing. Her option for happiness was there. If necessary, she could get police protection. She could stay with friends. Opportunities for happiness rarely come our way, and we have to grap them when they happen. Sometimes, irrerspective of the consequences.

Unfortunately, she didn't heed the messages of the tarot. She rejected the opportunity, because of her position in life. How she appeared to the outside world was most important in her life. Plus her materialistic insecurity. But to this day, l know that contrary to appearences, she is full of regrets for the lost opportunity for happiness.
Time passes quickly. You only have one life to live. You have to grab opportunities when they first appear.
